Frequently asked questions for Professional Partners Package

Where is my Sage?

You will have received two packages:

QuickBooks Premier 2010 Premier ‘Standalone Package’

Barclays Professional Partners Package – This contains your 2 user licence of Sage 50 Accounts Professional within your Barclays Business Manager software, a user manual, Barclays literature and Switcher/Sales vouchers.

Where is my Partner ID/Subcode?

This can be located on your welcome letter along with your Sage Subscription Code and password, QuickBooks license code and your Mindleaders codes.

Do I get Upgrades?

When you sign to the Barclays Professional Partner Package you receive the latest QuickBooks Premier 2 user license and Sage 50 Accounts Professional 2 user license.  You won’t receive upgrades on these products but you do receive on-line updates for Barclays Legal Manager and the Mindleaders products.

So what do I do when the latest version of QuickBooks and Sage come out?

We do offer discounted rates to join the Professional Advisors Programme (PAP) and Sage Accountants Club (SAC) if you wish to have the up-to-date software; PAP - £200 off first year’s subscription, SAC – 18 months for the price of 12 on the first year of subscription (These prices do not apply to existing PAP/SAC members).

Do I get the payroll and technical support for QuickBooks?

This isn’t something included in the offering although you can add this by calling Intuit on 0845 606 2161.

Can I get extra users and companies for Sage?

Unfortunately we don’t have this facility within the Sage as it is a set two user license for two machines and only one company.  If you wish to have extra users and companies the best option would be to sign up to Sage Accountants Club (SAC) for our discounted rate or subscribe to a separate Barclays Business Manager package (as the power features are not blocked).

Can I get extra users/licenses and companies for the QuickBooks?

You have up to 99 companies and a 2 user license to purchase extra users you would need to contact Intuit on 0845 606 2161.

Do I have to switch over to Barclays?

No you can stay with your current bank, the offering will still be £35 plus VAT per month but you won’t get FMT (Free Money Transfer).

How long until I get the software?

Once we have the forms it will take around 5-7 working days for you to receive your products.

Do I get VAT receipts?

VAT receipts are currently sent out by email 4 weeks after the billing date.

Can I get training on QB or Sage?

We offer training for the Barclays Business Manager product, Barclays Professional Partners Package customers are eligible to attend this training. 

How much technical support do I receive?

You receive 30 days on the QuickBooks from registration, and 45 days for the Sage from registration free of charge

What do I receive for selling a switcher/BBM sale?

If you sell a switcher to a customer they will receive QuickBooks Pro/Sage 50 Accountant at a price of £1 plus VAT per month for the first 12 months, you don’t receive anything yourself but your client is benefiting from the discounted software

If you sell a full priced BBM/BBE product once your customer has made their seventh payment you will receive a £50 plus cash back.
