Allowing your security to trust the Business Manager

If by personal choice or because of your network settings you cannot lower your security privacy settings, you can add Business Manager to your trusted sites list by following the steps below.

Checking your Connection Settings

1, To check the LAN settings you will need to go into Business Manager Connection Settings and change your Internet Options.

You can do this by right clicking on the Business Manager icon in the System Tray (1) (next to the clock in the bottom right corner of your computer) and then selecting Connection Settings (2).

 

Amending your Trusted Sites

2. Select the Security tab (1) from the tabs along the top of the window and then select Trusted Sites (2) and then press the Sites button (3). 

3. In the Trusted sites window that opens, you need to add the following web address in 'Add this website into the zone': https://bbm.clearlybusiness.com then click the add button (4) to the right.

4. Repeat step 3 for the web address

https://barclayslegalessentials.secureclient.co.uk 

 

5. Click Close to go back to the Internet Options.

Amending your Privacy settings

6. Next click the Privacy (5) tab and then click the Sites button (6).

7. In the new window that opens type in https://bbm.clearlybusiness.com in Address of website (7) box and click the Allow button (8).

8. Repeat step 7 with the following website addresses:

https://barclayslegalmanager.secureclient.co.uk
https://barclayslegalessentials.secureclient.co.uk 

9. Click OK (9) to finish.

Once done your new internet security settings should allow you to access the Business Manager Account Management Centre without any problems.

If Business Manager is still having problems connecting to the internet you could check your Opens internal link in current windowLAN Settings.
